22 years ago today, Mike Benny arrived in Prince George. I remember it well - some of things I noticed about Prince George 22 years ago.
#5. You never needed city council's approval for a hockey fight back then.
#4. Elliot Spitzer was only "client number two", back then.
#3. Pot holes, single lane wooden bridges and the constant smell of wet dog, sulfur and melting poop (who wouldn't love it here!?)
#2. 22 years ago, I picked up the phone to call, Ben Klassen at Homesteader Meats and I've done that every week since!
#1. I remember thinking back then - I am going to replace that Cameron Street bridge and I'm going to stay here for as long as it takes!!
