Ten digit dialing

Telus is asking people across BC and Alberta to prepare for 10 digit dialing this fall. On September 12th, all calls must be made by dialing the area code and then the regular number. Some are complaining about this – but I can see how this could be a good thing..

#4. You'll get to teach the kids the new emergency number, 250-911.
#3. Brand new wrinkles around your eyes as you squint to read all the tiny numbers on your little cel phone.
#2. Pizza 73, changes it's name to Pizza 250-73!
#1. Think of all the new people you'll get to talk to, trying to dial all ten digits while driving and eating your BLT on the way to work!
