Ways to celebrate Prime Minister day

Friday, 13 February 2009 07:16
This Monday Manitoba gets a holiday - Louis Riel Day - and Ontario and Alberta get a provincial holiday - Family Day - so it’s a long weekend for some Canadians. There was some talk about having a Prime Ministers Day for the rest of us. But, how would you celebrate Prime Ministers Day?
#5. Promise to do a bunch of stuff and then don't do it.
#4. Give everyone the bird (a la Trudeau).
#3. Re-flag your ships under another country to avoid paying taxes in your own country (a la Paul Martin).
#2. Re-draw a map of Canada with the Pacific Ocean starting at Saskatchewan.
#1. Do what any 49 year old stamp collecting, slightly paunchy, leader of a sovereign nation would do; Donuts for breakfast, beer for lunch!!
