One of my favourite places…

Once a week (or so) Ashley and I (and Doug) drop by Cafe Voltaire after our morning show. It’s one of my favourite places and it’s a nice break in the day.

This morning we said “goodbye” and “good luck” to a friend who is embarking on a new adventure…

I will not be competing in this years PG triathlon

The Prince George Triathlon is coming up this Sunday. There has been a lot of media speculation about whether I will be competing this year or not. There are several reasons why I will not be competing this year. To set the record straight here are Mike’s top five reasons why I will not be competing in this years PG triathlon.
#5. Pre race testing revealed rather high amounts of perogies, sour cream and bacon.
#4. I constantly miss pronounce the word by adding ‘a’ in between the ‘triath’ and the ‘lon’.
#3. I’m boycotting all triathlons until the governing body agrees to reinstate square dancing as an optional component for those who can’t swim.
#2. I still haven’t recover from a rather serious speedo wedgie injury from last year’s cycling component.
#1. It’s on the same day I usually like to do nothing all day.
